What you might notice

  • Tingling or numb hands in the morning, from swelling around the wrist.
  • Heartburn that keeps you up. Eat earlier and prop yourself up.
  • Piles for some, often linked to constipation.

Coming up

Weeks 24–28

Glucose test window.

Second half of pregnancy

Your provider may recommend vaccines, such as whooping cough, to help protect your baby after birth.

Questions to bring to your next appointment

  1. Which vaccines do you recommend during pregnancy, and when?
  2. What can I do about sleep, and is anything safe to take?
  3. Is the numbness in my hands anything to worry about?
Add your own, then bring the list with you.

For your partner

Take over a night task, like the last bathroom-and-water run or setting up pillows. Sleep is getting harder from here.
